Black Russian Terrier

 

A young breed, the Black Russian Terrier was developed in the Soviet Union in the 1960s.

The breed was created from the Giant Schnauzer, Rottweiler, Airedale and other large size breeds.

Popular in professional guard work, the Black Russian can be black or salt and pepper. The coat is short, strong, thick and wiry.

This dog needs an experienced owner.
